Dennis Pierce grew up in Belmont, Nova Scotia. He trained at Red River College in Winnipeg, Manitoba and obtained his Red Seal from the Province of Manitoba in 1998. Dennis worked as a chef in Winnipeg restaurants for more than 11 years, and in 2008, he returned home to Nova Scotia with the goal to open his own kitchen.
