Meet the Chef
Chef Dennis Pierce grew up in Belmont, Nova Scotia, just outside of Truro. He trained at Red River College in Winnipeg, Manitoba and obtained his Red Seal 1998. Dennis worked as a chef in Winnipeg restaurants for more than 11 years, and in 2008, he returned home to Nova Scotia with the goal to open his own kitchen. In 2009, he opened Bistro 22 in Truro.
